Sometimes it becomes important to understand that what is right and real and true - is not what you’d like it to be. Resistance to new ideas, new ways of thinking, new ways of communicating, new ways of receiving can all be challenges that must simply be…overcome. Sometimes the universe just doesn’t give you a lot of options about it.

I recently made a commitment to a 21-day community phone-based meditation. I was a little concerned about making this commitment as the call was at 7am - a bit early for me. But I was excited about the meditation I’d experienced and was looking forward to joining the meditation community that was being created.

Over the last month I’ve been doing a lot of work to clarify my business ideas and practices. In the process I stumbled across (or rather was led by my own coach to) this idea of the “inner wizard”. For me the inner wizard is the idea that we all have a little magical ability inside us that we can tap into at any time. Several years ago my friend Serena remarked to me “Magic is the art of conceiving of reality differently in such a way that it comes to pass.” This quote immediately came to my mind when talking about my inner wizard.
